Rent a Car with TJE Rent A Car

Cash renters must meet stricter guidelines:

• Must be a local resident
   
• Must be 25+ years old
   
• Must provide:
   
  • Valid driver’s license
     
  • Proof of residence
     
  • Proof of full coverage insurance
     

Deposits:

• $500 deposit for midsize/full-size vehicles
   
• $1,000 deposit for SUVs & luxury vehicles

• Deposits must be paid before a vehicle is released.
   
• Remaining balances are due at pickup (cash, card, or Zelle).
   
• All rentals are subject to availability.
   
• Rates, deposits, and policies may change without notice.
   
• All customers must agree to these terms before booking.
   

• Renters paying with credit/debit must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and show full coverage insurance.
   
• A $250 deposit ($500 deposit if paying in cash, Driver must show proof of being a MN resident) is required for card rentals.
   
• Renters must provide accurate identification and agree to all rental terms before pickup.

• Rental must sign rental agreement before picking up car.

• No smoking in any vehicle. A $200 cleaning fee applies for any signs of smoking.
   
• Renter is responsible for:
   
• All toll fees
   
• Impound or towing fees
   
• Lost, damaged, or stolen keys
   
• Any damage done to the vehicle during the rental period
   
• Mileage plans (150 miles/day or Unlimited) must be selected before pickup.
   
• Fees apply for exceeding mileage limits or returning late.

We collect this information only for rental verification and payment processing:

• Name and contact information
   
• Driver’s license and insurance details
   
• Payment and deposit information
   
• Rental history and booking details
   

We use your information to:

• Process reservations
   
• Verify renter identity
   
• Manage payments, deposits, and insurance
   
• Prevent fraud and protect our vehicles
   

We do NOT sell your information.
We only share it when required for payment processing or by law.

We protect your data through secure systems, encryption, and limited access.
Although no system is perfect, we take every reasonable step to safeguard your information.
